Mr. Carman has over five million books in print in 26 languages, and he has spoken live to over a million young readers at 3000+ schools across the country.

Patrick Carman’s books for young adults and children are published by Scholastic, Harper Collins, Penguin Random House, and Little Brown Books for Young Readers. His bestselling books and series include The Land of Elyon, Atherton, 39 Clues, Floors, Thirteen Days to Midnight,  Pulse, 3:15, Fizzopolis, Mr. Gedrick and Me, Towervale, and Skeleton Creek.

Mr. Carman is a co-founder and founding creative director of GoKidGo, a narrative podcast company for kids with over 30 million downloads across dozens of shows. Patrick is the Co-founder and Director of Business Development for WWAI, a next-generation AI firm specializing in custom AI user platforms for nonprofits, municipalities, and creative companies.

As founder of Toon Toaster with partner Joe Purdy (Hey Arnold), Mr. Carman develops animation and graphic novel properties with partners from the sports and entertainment industries.

Mr. Carman spends his free time supporting literacy campaigns and community organizations, trail running, mountain biking, flyfishing, hiking, carpentry, tinkering with machines and gadgets, watching movies, following his favorite sports teams, reading (lots), and (more than anything else) spending time with his family. Patrick grew up in Salem, Oregon, and graduated from Willamette University with a business/managerial economics degree. His birthday is February 27th, 1966.
