My students read your books Skeleton Creek and Ghost in the Machine. We filmed original ghost stories based on a ghost in Monticello, AR. We couldn’t videotape on location, so we videotaped in our auditorium. Several of the videos came out pretty good. We learned it is difficult to get lights, sounds and effects like fog machine coordinated enough to make a single effect when the ghost makes its appearances. We limited ouselves to a one act play because we only had a few days in the auditorium, but it was a lot of fun and we learned a lot. Thanks for the inspiration. My students came into the classroom and cheered if we were reading your books.

I have a shelf on which I put my favourite books. I am a big reader and average 200 pages a day or more, thus I have a very large library of my own. I love the Land of Elyon, and they will always have a place on my shelf.
Elyon has always meant a lot to me – maybe someday that darn movie will get made! Stay tuned. PC

How long did it take you to write trackers?
Today a group of 4th & 5th graders at my school participated in a visit with Patrick through his virtual tour using Skype. It was wonderful how Patrick addressed them by name answering their questions and could also be a little silly. The students raved about it afterwards and I think they will all “keep turning the pages” as he said! Thanks!

When you go on tour you should go to Houston, Texas. Barnes and Nobles champion is the bookstore close to me. Do you remember me there. You signed my blue hat on April 24, 2010 for 13 days to midnight. Your book was excellent.

I read Skeleton Creek and Ghost In The Machine and they were awesome and I’m on Skeleton Creek: The Crossbones and it’s the scariest by far. Can’t wait till the fourth book. What will the name of it be?
