Thanks for the info. If and when it does come out, I for one am definitely looking forward to it. I like the idea of bringing Dr. Harding to life, as well as National Rest Day. I remember when I was younger, having just finished the second Elyon book, I was asked on one of those time-capsule questionnaires what character from a book or movie I would like to spend a day with, and I answered the same, although with out the balloon bit because that book wasn’t released yet. I am loving the sound of Thirteen Days to Midnight, I am very interested to read this “…Patrick Carman like you’ve never read him before.”… If that doesn’t get a Patrick Carman fan excited, I am at a loss as to what would.

Answers to recent questions: Elyon movie is still in pre-production, which means it might or might not ever happen, but 2010 could be interesting. If’s with a good CGI production company, so we’ve got a shot. Skeleton Creek has also been optioned and looks to have a chance. Stay tuned!
The places (Skeleton Creek / Atherton Tabletop) were unintentional and I didn’t find out about the connections until after I wrote the books.
Hey patrick carman!!! I love-I mean absoloutly love- the land of elyon books. You need to make it a movie! I went on http://www.answers.com and asked but they all say they want it to!!!! You should consalt it with the movie people so thfey can read it and be astounded like I did. I have all 5 books(book1,2,3,4,and into the mist) and was hoping for a book 5 if u can’t make a movie. If umake enough money making it a movie then make it a game to! Advertise the movie to put it in a movie theater and tell the movie people not to take to long!! If hey can make the lord of the rings and the golden compass then no doubt about the land of elyon. It would be complicated to make books 1,2,3,4 so just make 234 in a movie and make a sequel into the mist. Don’t takelong about book 5 pretty please!
PC, I was wondering if you knew about your double-reference to Australian geography in your books. There is a place called Skeleton Creek in Victoria, and there is a place called the Atherton Tablelands in Northern Queensland. I just found that such a coincidence. Also, has there been any developments on the Elyon movie front? Thank you for all the great books over the years, keep ‘em coming!
Hi, I have been following the books and movies closely, and for many videos, (ex.the ancientmariner,georgelutz, and in Skeleton Creek, theraven) have been malfunctioning. Could someone maybe offer advice or tell me the ending? Thank you! <3
I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties at sarahfincher.com. I tried out the passwords you listed and I was unable to reproduce your problem. If you can’t access videos on the site, you can search for “Skeleton Creek” in the iTunes store and watch them there.
I will continue to check for problems on the sarahfincher.com website.
Were you trying it from the iPhone site?? Because I had trouble with those videos on the iPhone app as well, but had no trouble with them on my desktop.

When it first came out, I picked up Skeleton Creek on a whim for my son, and he LOVES both books (he got Ghost in the Machine for Christmas). He is hoping that Ghost in the Machine isn’t really the end for Skeleton Creek…what can I tell him? Thanks for writing such great books!
Hi Paul, sorry you didn’t enjoy the experience, but hey, not every book is for every reader. If you didn’t enjoy the experience of reading and watching the first book, chances are you wouldn’t enjoy the second one, either – but it does end in the second book, so there’s that. PC
I feel ripped off. I just finished Skeleton Creek and I find out that I’m nowhere near the end of the story. It was not a good enough story to make me want to spend any more money to find out the ending.
Are you kidding me?!?! Skeleton Creek and Ghost in the Machine are the best books EVER written!!! I can’t believe you aren’t finishing the story!!! You have to read the second one!! It is a whole lot better than the first one!
