Traveling way to much! A few updates for ya’ all….We’re very close to launching a new site that will replace the studio site and the patrickcarman.com site – merging them together and doing a lot more blogging to keep everything in one place. The Patterson / Spinelli event was amazing – a super time in Florida. Heading out on Thursday for the National Teachers conference win Philadelphia (four days). SO many projects in the works I wish I could tell you about! I can tell you that Skeleton Creek is moving forward in a super interesting direction – all the other projects are under wraps for a tiny bit longer. On the movie front, Skeleton Creek has officially been optioned by Intrepid Pictures – very cool guys and they’re excited to get a movie made. Fingers crossed! I’ll be updating a lot more once I get off the road and back into the writing studio. Peace!! PC P.S. Maxwell…I’m working on some things in that realm now, but again, can’t say anything more than that. Thank you for the encouragement!

Hey Patrick–do you think that now you’ve written scripts for the Skeleton Creek and tech-thriller series that you might consider writing a movie script? If you have considered it, was it something original or an adaptation of one of your works? Can you say anything else about it?

You know everybody, there’s a contest going on over at the fansite http://www.skeletoncreekfans.com

Regardless of whether it was Indestructible or Invincible, I agree with Zack – 13 Days to Midnight is one of the best titles I’ve ever heard of. I would for sure buy a book with that kind of title (even if I plan on buying it anyway O_o)

  6. zwfaucett says:

I don’t think it was Indestructable, I think he said it was changed to Invincible. Either way, I am inlove with “13 Days to Midnight” and would enjoy it very much so if they stuck to that title.

  7. maxwell says:

Hey Patrick–it’s cool to hear from you again. I was reading your post and saw that you mentioned 13 Days to Midnight (amazing title, I must say), but didn’t you tell us in one of those online interviews that your publishers had changed the title to Indestructible? Have they changed it back? I hope they have….Indestructible sounds too much like Unbreakable, which I believe you said it was like.

Hey everyone – I’ve been a road warrior lately and it continues into next week. Just returned from a swing through New York, back for the weekend, but heading to NY and Florida again on Sunday for the week. On Tuesday I’m doing an event with Jerry Spinelli and James Patterson in Palm Beach, Florida – should be a lot of fun. After that I’m at the national teachers conference speaking with Brian Selznik, then, finally, I can get back to work on stuff! The tech thriller is in edits and looking really good, and 13 Days to Midnight is getting some nice early buzz. 100,000 people watched almost 700,000 videos at Sarahfincher.com during Ghost in the Machine’s first month out of the gate – we’re doing great! Thanks to all you fans – you’re making it happen. Back to the road…..

Hey Patrick–cool to hear about Skeleton Creek Investigations. You know, it’s hard to believe that you’ve published 11 books so far (and have many more coming) in the 6 short years you’ve been a published author. You must work really, REALLY hard to keep us entertained, and I thank you. I really do.

  21. snowleopard says:

When things calm down a bit I’ll schedule another chat session. In the mean time, thank you for spreading the word out there! And do stay tuned – I have several important announcements pending – - – soon!
