The Dark Hills Divide
Inquisitive twelve-year-old Alexa Daley is spending another summer in the walled town of Bridewell. This year, she is set on solving the mystery of what lies beyond the walls. Legend says the walls were built to keep out an unnamed evil that lurks in the forests and The Dark Hills. But what exactly is it that the townspeople are so afraid of?
As Alexa begins to unravel the truth, pushing beyond the protective barrier she’s lived behind all her life, she discovers a strange and ancient enchantment. Armed with an unexpected new power, Alexa exposes a danger that could destroy everything she holds dear – and change The Land of Elyon forever.

Alexa thought her troubles were over when she defeated the man who threatened to bring down Bridwell from within. But now that the walls around her have fallen, a new, unexpected threat has risen from outside. Suddenly, Alexa is involved in a battle much, much larger than her own life-a battle in which she is destined to play a key role.
In order to help good defeat evil, Alexa and her friends must venture father that they’ve ever gone before-confronting giants, bats, ravenous dogs, and a particularly ghoulish mastermind in order to bring peace to The Land of Elyon.

Hi Patrick, I think your Land Of Elyon series is the best! I read all of the time, but I haven’t found a book better then yours. I also really loved the Black Circle (39 clues.)

You should definetly make another book called fenwick forest frightcuz iheard it on http://www.answers.com and it sounds coolthatsomeone should try to overthrow ander and kill alexa. There should also be a bear attack with ander and the be a bear attack with ander and the bear trying tooverthrow ander. Alexa should keep having nightmares and flashbacks and gets hurt b the bear trying to overthrow ander, locked in a cage and rescued by yipes. Please use this idea!!! I’m 12 and want to read aboutthis by the bestauthor! I even think this series is slot better than the 39 clues series.

The Land of Elyon series is probably one of the best series I’ve read in a while, with Atherton a close runner up. I liked the way Atherton ended, but I would really love another Elyon book. Any news on that, Patrick?
