Synopsis
Reading a book will never be the same. In a new, groundbreaking format, Skeleton creek is broken into two parts — Ryan’s text in the book, and Sarah’s videos on a special website, with links and passwords given throughout the story. Skeleton Creek is a book and a movie at the same time.

After an eerie accident leaves Ryan housebound and forbidden to see Sarah, their investigation takes two tracks: Ryan records everything in his journal, while Sarah uses her videocam in the haunted woods beyond Skeleton Creek.

also i am 15 and this book would be great for any one ages 10-however old i wouldn’t let some little kid watch the videos but a 10 year old definantly so have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have read the first book i just started the second book and it is great i never imagined our school letting us read something like this but im glad they did i really enjoy the book and the video’s between sarah and ryan its a never ending mystery i would recomend this book to any one with a wild side or who like mysteries or lots of freaky fun so read this book if thats you and remember i give it 4-5 stars
I’m a 17-year-old bookworm who is a bit skeptical about horror films (I’m the one sitting there staring blankly at the screen and finally laughing at the most intense moments while my friends jump around and shriek). But, I convinced my brother to order the first book from his Scholastic book order at school, because I’m trying to get him into reading, and this sounded like a good way to start. I really enjoyed the concept of switching back and forth between book and video (except when I was trapped on the couch under a sleeping dog, unable to access the computer when a password came up!). But, back to my skeptical opinion of horror films these days… My 10-year-old brother was actually too scared of the videos, and the last one in the first book actually make me jump (Spoiler: I jumped when “Old Joe Bush” appeared above the trap door and did that creepy inhuman crawling thing in and out of the trap door). Thus, I foolishly watched these videos around 2 AM and went to bed paranoid. Thanks for a great read! I am also madly in love with Ryan (haha)… If a third book makes an appearance, I with DEFINITELY snatch it up. I will also look into you YA novel. ~Emma

These books are great! I’m 14 and this just proves that these books are good for any age. The first book was so good that I read it in 3 hours including all of the video clips. The last video clip is a real cliff hangar, I can’t wait to get Ghost in the Machine!

this is my favouite book of all time. the one problem i have with it is once you are finnished it your finnished it and then there is nothing just as good to read. i really really wish there was another mystery with brian and sarah they are awsome characters. and know i am reading 39 clues and its just not like skeleton creek
